PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a relative coordinate input device, which reduces erroneous input, at a low cost. SOLUTION: A grating is printed or written in a grating mat part 10. A grating traverse detection sensor part 20 where a light emitting element and a light reception element, are provided in the front end of a pen type mouse detects grating traverse by tracing the grating mat part 10 with the front end or the pen type mouse. A processing part 40 gives information of detected grating traverse and pen depression information from a pressure sensor part 30 to a relative coordinate extraction part 50. The part 50 extracts relative coordinates corresponding to extents of movement of the pen type mouse in X and Y directions from these information and sends the extracted results to a higher-order device. |
