DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process video audio data received by a receiver side in real time by generating the video audio data earlier in advance by a transmission delay time so as to compensate a transmission delay in a communication channel. SOLUTION: The data transmission system 1 is configured by data transmitters 3a-3f connecting to VTRs 14a-14f respectively interconnected by an ATM communication channels 2. The data transmitters 3a-3f calculate each transmission delay time and control VTRs 14a-14f based on the transmission delay time to generate data earlier than the actual time. Thus, the data transmitters 3a-3f at the transmitter side send PUD packets while compensating the transmission delay received at the ATM communication channel 2 in advance thereby allowing the data transmitters 3a-3f at a receiver side to process the received transmission data in real time.
