PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic developing device capable of decreasing the amt. of waste liquid of washing water and stabilizer, accurately estimating the life of a resin and reutilizing the resin. SOLUTION: The life of anion exchange resin is estimated as the function of the processing amt. of photosensitive materials at the time of specifying the replenishing amt. of the washing liquid or stabilizer of the final bath after the desilvering treatment of the color photosensitive materials to >=30ml per 1m<2> photosensitive materials and executing the processing while the iron ions in the processing liquid are adsorbed on the anion exchange resin by bringing the processing liquid of the final bath into contact with the resin. The processing is executed by using the anion exchange resins before the life expires. The anion exchange resin is exchanged when the life has expired. |
