PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the position of a fault using test data when any fault is generated at a bus interface circuit. SOLUTION: When data buses 31-18 are abnormal, test data are inputted from a fault detection circuit 41 to the inside of bidirectional buffers 11-18, these data are received on the side of the data buses and input data and received data are discriminated. Next, test data are inputted from a fault detection circuit 44 to the inside of bidirectional buffers 21-28, data outputted from the side of data buses are received and the input data are compared with the received data. Then, the respective compared results are discriminated and the fault position is diagnosed from the discriminated result. |
