摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacitor required for communication consumed for troubleshooting by limiting the number of machines required for troubleshooting. SOLUTION: Computers 1, 2 make periodic communication to detect a fault in a communication channel and communication devices and computers 1-4 monitors interruption of reception respectively. On the occurrence of interrupted reception, it is discriminated as occurrence of a fault in a communication channel. The designation as to which two sets among test communication mechanisms 5, 6 are to make notice transmission is decided by describing the designation in each of the computers 1-4 by the manager of the system in advance as initializing information. Then, 2×(n-1) kinds of transmission paths are enough for the notice transmission by limiting the number of the test communication devices to two sets. The reception function and the communication channels for all the computers 1-4 are monitored even when the number of the test communication mechanisms is limited to two sets as above. As a result, the capacity for network communication consumed by troubleshooting is reduced while keeping fault detection information.
