PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wide band characteristics, to reduce a transmission loss by equalizing the electric conditions in the states of '0' and π, and to improve accuracy and efficiency by eliminating difference by generating both states for the change of a polarity at the time of signal transmission while using the transformation of the form of a line and a switch. SOLUTION: A high frequency input signal is propagated through a slot line 4, propagated in the direction of OFF of a high frequency switch 10 or 11 at the junction of slot lines 5 and 6 and propagated to a conductor 3. At such a time, mutually reverse electric fields are held between a microstrip line 7 or 8 and the conductor 3, and the signal is propagated with an opposite phase. Therefore, two states of '0' and π. are prepared by changing over switches 10 and 11 so that one switch can be turned on and the other switch can be turned off. Besides, the electric length formed by lines 5 and 7 and lines 6 and 8 is made into the odd-number multiple of π/4 and the line on the side, where no signal is transmitted, is operated as a short stub when observed from the output terminal side. Thus, there is no frequency dependency, the wide band characteristics can be provided and the electric length or loss of lines can be made equal. |
