<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate apparent charge waiting time by instantaneously driving away a charged secondary battery stored in a storage part when a secondary battery put in a putting-in part is judged as a normal one. SOLUTION: A secondary battery is introduced into an inspection part 3, various items for confirming charging capabilities are inspected there, and the battery 2 is inspected whether it is normal of defective one. The normal battery 2 judged based on the judgement result is transferred in a before- charging battery storage part 4 through a transfer switching mechanism for temporary storage, and a defective battery 2 is transferred in a defective battery housing part 5. The normal battery stored in the storage part 4 is timely transferred in a charging part 7 through a transfer part 6, charged, then stored in an after-charging battery storage part 8, and the charged battery 2 is driven away from a battery driving away part 9.</p> |
