PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the view angle of an LED at a display part employing the LED. SOLUTION: In a light emitting diode 7 comprising a light emitting element 2 embedded in a transparent resin 8, the distance between the front part of transparent resin and the light emitting element is shortened and the surface of front part is matted. Since the distance between the front part and the light emitting element is shortened, the quantity of light to be emitted from the front part is ensured and since the surface of front part is matted, the emitted light is diffuse uniformly. Furthermore, the view angle can be enlarged by fixing the front part while projecting from the fixing board. |
