PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of properly correcting a toner concentration even if a consecutive copying process is in execution without reducing a throughput, in an image forming device using a two- component developer. SOLUTION: At the time of deciding a required supply from video count integrated by a counter 66, based on an image density signal, with respect to a supply, the difference between it and an actual supply from a toner supplying device 60 is obtained by a table, etc., to be integrated. When the total supply difference reaches a ceiling value at a prescribed tolerance level, the toner concn. is detected and corrected by a patch image forming system by using a photoelectric conversion element 74, etc. Moreover, when the total supply difference does not reach the ceiling value, but image formation is completed, the toner concn. is detected/corrected at the time of completing the image formation. Further, toner is supplied from the toner supplying device 60, when a supplied toner quantity with a single operation becomes stable to such a degree that linearity is kept with respect to the supply difference. |
