PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device capable of easily grasping the fact that a battery is charged to the practically usable state. SOLUTION: A charging device has a charge current output part 1 for outputting charge current to a battery B, a charge amount detecting part 3 for detecting the charge amount of the battery B, a charge control part 4 for controlling the charged state of the battery B according to a charge amount signal Sj outputted from the charge amount detecting part 3, and a display part 6 for displaying the charged state of the battery B. The charge control part 4 has a practical usability reporting function which switches the display of the display part 6 when the charge amount Cg of the battery B indicated in the charge amount signal Sj reached the specified practically usable charge amount Cn previously set. |
