PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte secondary battery with small size, light weight, and high capacity by covering a unit cell with spiral structure with an outer jacket tube made of a heat-shrinkable tube. SOLUTION: A negative current collector 2, a negative electrode layer 3, a solid polymer electrolyte layer 4, a positive electrode layer 5, and a positive current collector 6 are stacked, an insulating layer 7 is arranged on the negative current collector 2 side, and they are spirally wound so that the insulating layer 7 locates in the outermost circumference to obtain a unit cell 1. A 0.5-1.5mm thick adhesive insulating member 8 is arranged on the surface perpendicularly crossing to the winding direction of the unit cell 1. A positive terminal plate 9 whose one end is connected to the positive current collector 6 and other end is projected to the outside by passing through the insulating member 8 is arranged, and a negative terminal plate 10 whose one end is connected to the negative current collector 2 and the other end is projected to the outside by passing through the insulating member 8 is arranged. The bottom and the outermost circumference of the unit cell 1, and the insulating member 8 are covered with an outer jacket tube 11 made of a heat-shrinkable tube. |
