PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manual distance adjustment and to make the speediness of a focus correction and switching of MF and AF modes and the operability of manual focusing excellent with the will of a photographer, after an automatic focusing operation, in a back focus control type AF camera. SOLUTION: When switching to the MF mode is attained after the completion of in-focus and a current in a direction opposite to that of the current of a coil 50 is made to flow, a magnet is turned to the left, so that a fork 27 jumps up to face upward and a driving shaft 37 is lifted up to release the engagement of the engaging gear 32 of the lower side with a motor pinion 30. Then, on the upper side of the shaft 37, a coupling barrel 24 connected to a manual shaft 23 is coupled to a lower coupling barrel 25 and a dial 22 is manually operated to transmit power by hand and directly rotate a gear 33. Thus, the movable part of the camera body can be arbitrarily moved by an engaged rack gear from the outside. |
