PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in the gas barrier property at a high temp. and a high humidity by combining an inorg. layer having transparency and a resin coating layer having a barrier property to cover the surface of a base film in a specified order. SOLUTION: A photopolymerizable photosensitive layer containing a compd. having at least one ethylenically unsatd. bond which is polymerizable with active rays, a linear org. polymer material and a photopolymn. initiator is formed on a supporting body by coating. Then, a film produced by successively forming a silicon oxide layer having 0.01-0.5μm thickness and a gas barrier layer containing a vinylidene chloride copolymer or ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer having 0.05-15μm thickness on a base film is laminated on the photosensitive layer to obtain the planographic printing plate. Thereby, the gas barrier property against oxygen or water vapor can be maintained in a good state even at a high temp. and a high humidity, and enough shielding property against oxygen can be obtd. Therefore, the obtd. plate has high sensitivity, and moreover, the processing ability of a developer can be increased. |
