PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for transmitting the order content of a purchaser- side to a salesman-side by sequentially connecting the mail order the order confirmation device of the salesman-side to the terminal equipment of the purchaser-side in mail-order self for purchasing a winning horse betting ticket and an article by means of a telephone call. SOLUTION: The hoses A, B and C of purchasers are provided with the terminal equipments 60 having RAM 69 storing order data. The respective purchasers input order contents to the terminal equipments 60 by push keys 62. Thus, they are stored in the order data areas 70 of RAM 69 in the terminal equipments 60 as order data. When it becomes a prescribed time which is immediately before racing, a host computer 10 is connected to the terminal equipments 60 through telephone lines 20. The computer takes out order data stored in the terminal equipments 60 by data transmission, and stores them in the order data area 15 of RAM 14 in the host computer 10. The host computer 10 sequentially executes the operations mentioned above for all the terminal equipments 60. Thus, a salesman can know the order contents of the respective purchasers. |
