PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock management device of medicines and the like, which precisely recognizes the stock of management objects such as medicides and easily supplies them. SOLUTION: The management objects such as the medicines are divided and stored in the drawers 2a and 3a of storage racks 1A and 1B. Sensors outputting stock detection information of a logical value '1' when storage weight exceeds a prescribed value and of a logical value '0' when it is less than the prescribed value are incorporated in the respective drawers 2a and 3a. A personal computer 30 reads stock detection information outputted from the sensors. A management list showing storage areas, management object names and the presence or absence of stock is generated. An ordering list is generated based on stock presence or absence information on the management list and it is transmitted to the host computer 34 of an ordering destination through a telephone line 33.
