PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the superior-visibility liquid crystal device whose nonillumination part in the case of a normally white type or illumination part in the case of a normally black type is of a similar color, uniform, and bright and the electronic equipment which is bright and improved in visibility. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal cell 110 is constituted by arranging an upper electrode substrate 103 which has an upper electrode 104 and a lower electrode substrate 106 which has a lower electrode 105 formed opposite each other across spacers 109 and charging liquid crystal 111. On the upper electrode substrate 103 of the liquid crystal cell 110, an optical anisotropic macromolecular film 102 is formed and further on it, an upper polarizing plate 101 is formed. A lower polarizing plate 107 is arranged beneath the lower electrode substrate 106 of the liquid crystal cell 110 and a hologram layer 108 is provided further beneath it. |
