POWER SOURCE CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abnormal operation caused by the sudden operation stoppage of a device unit and the lowering of power source voltage and to perform the power distribution which is suitable to an operation by providing a stoppage means stopping the part of the factions within the unit according to the control signal returned from a power source device based on the information on the power consumption transmitted from an attachable/detachable unit to the power source device. SOLUTION: The control unit 20 of an image pickup device unit 1 performs controls of a lens controller 14, a timing generator TG 17 and others in accordance with the signal transmitted from a computer 3 through a camera I/F 21. The computer 3 supplies each power to the connected device units 1 and 2. A CPU 4 controls the assignment amount of the power supplied to the connected device units 1 and 2 by using interfaces 5 and 6. A power control system 10 is capable of varying and controlling power to be used in a display system 7 and a memory system 8.
