<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure directional characteristics of a beam of a phase array antenna provided with a series feeder type mono-pulse distributor in a short time without using any complicated transmitting antenna for measurement. SOLUTION: A transmitting single 11 with a specified range of frequency containing a measuring frequency divided in 3 or more is generated by a transmitter 1 to be transmitted from a transmitting antenna 2. At the same time, a detection trigger signal 1b synchronizing each division timing of the transmitted frequency is generated to be supplied to a receiver 4. A ratioΔ/Σis calculated by a signal processor 7 between a sum signalΣand a difference signalΔthrough a mono-pulse antenna 3 to determine a frequency that minimizes the ratio to calculate a scanning angle of a beam on the basis of a difference from a set frequency.</p> |
