PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate or nearly eliminate the phase difference of passing visible light by selecting a combination of a metallic film and a dielectric film. SOLUTION: When this structure body has a light absorptive film and a transparent film of a dielectric and the dispersionΔof light by a substance is (n450 -n650 )/n550 , this structure consists of the metallic film which satisfies -0.05>=Δ(m)>=-0.28 and the dielectric film which satisfies 0.02>=Δ(d)>=0.005, whereΔ(m) is the dispersion of light by the metallic film constituting the phase control film structure body 3 andΔ(d) is the dispersion of light by the dielectric film. Or the structure body consists of a metallic film which satisfies 0.05>=Δ(m)>=-0.28 and a dielectric film which satisfies 0.024>=Δ(d)>=0.003. Here, n450 , n550 , and n650 are the transmissivity values of lights of 450, 550, and 650nm in wavelength. Then, Ni and ZrO2 , etc., are laminated alternately on, for example, a glass substrate 1 and the phase difference from light passing through a medium 2 is made constant over the entire visible area.
