The packaging carton for a bottle has a semi-rigid structure formed of corrugated cardboard and has panels (2-6) articulated together in pairs by fold lines (7-10). The folds are parallel allowing accordion folding. Certain folds (7-10) come into contact with at least one internal face of the container, associated with two free faces of the panels (2-6) extending from the ends of the lines of folding which contact the two other parallel faces of the packaging. An aperture (11-15) is provided in each panel with a diameter corresponding to the respective shape of the bottle at that point.
