<p>Fluorinated reverse gel compositions incorporating nonfluorinated surfactants are disclosed. The compositions, comprising a continuous fluorinated phase and a disperse aqueous phase, are formed by combining a nonfluorinated surfactant with at least one highly fluorinated organic compound and at least one partially fluorinated and partially hydrogenated organic compound. This fluorinated dispersion is then combined with an aqueous solution to provide a reverse gel that may be used for wound treatment, lubrication, or the delivery of active principles.</p> |
