The locking unit is contained in a lock housing (3) and is connected to the shutting unit (2), which acts on an inner locking lever, via a mechanical/dynamic link (4). The link includes a connecting shaft with a ball head element (7) at both ends. The ball head is associated with the handle assembly and is rotationally fixed in a nut (8) which is actuated by the closure cylinder. The ball element associated with the lock actuation lever is rotationally fixed in a nut which acts upon the lock actuation lever. The system containing the connecting shaft, ball head elements and nuts forms a tolerance compensation device for the manufacturing and assembly tolerances between the lock assembly and closure handle assembly.
