METHOD OF HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure(13). The method comprises a step of processing a preliminary formed body(10). Cells(11) are formed on the preliminary formed body(10) by a water-jet process. Next, a drying is performed and slurries(12) are coated to the body(10). Next, the body(10) is removed by heat and the honeycomb structure(13) is formed by forming material. Thereby, there are many open pores in the honeycomb structure(13), so that the flowing and filtering are well performed.
