In the process: a) the components are punched or formed out of a non-coated strip, and are held in a fixture or by means of residual connections to the strip; b) a predetermined (discrete) contact region of the component is positioned approximately at the centre of a high-frequency induction coil; and c) after this region is induction heated, the chosen contact material is melted onto it.
