The arrangement includes a flow channel (2), in which the shovels (11) of a conduct crown (10) and the shovels (13) of an impeller wheel (12) are arranged one after another in a flow direction. A hydraulic auxiliary motor (20) includes a moving piston rod (22) which is arranged outside a reed (4) of the turbine. A transmission rod arrangement (24) extends through the flow channel and transmits the reciprocal movement of the piston rod on to a connecting limb (26) which is axially movable in the reed. A power transmission mechanism (28) forwards movement of the connecting limb on to an axially movable regulator shaft (30) which rotates with the impeller. A thrust/rotation mechanism (32) transforms the axial movement of the regulator shaft into turning adjustment motions of the impeller shovels.
