The vehicle door has a base part carrying the cable operated window raising system. At least one of the door's fixing zones (e.g. 20) is made with spring elasticity at least transversely to the windscreen plane. These zones can lie between the guide rail (3) of the window raising system and the carrier plate (2) or inner sheet (1) of the door, or the frame structure. They should preferably be a one-piece component of the carrier plate, door inner sheet or frame structure.
