Partially insulated occlusion device

This is a device used in the occlusion of various lumen and other cavities in the body. In particular, it may be used to form an endovascular occlusion through the application of a radio-frequency modulated voltage to the device after its placement in the body. The elongated body of the device is insulated in its proximal part, at least a part of the distal part being not insulated. The distal part may not or may be detachable either by means of an electrolytic action or by a mechanical connection.
