When the user of the board places his foot on the board the connector automatically snaps onto his boot while he steps on the shorter part of a two armed lever. The connector parts (8,10) engage with symmetrically opposite sides of the edges of the sole of the boot. The grips are located on the longitudinal and cross centre of the sole. The connector stationary part (8), is located at one side of the boot. The moving part, at the opposite side of the boot, can pivot from a free position into a position in which it grips over the edge of the sole and locks on it.
