Disclosed is a monitor communizer in a computer system to display image signals from many computers on one monitor. The communizer comprises a multiplexer(31), a compressor(33) and a controller(32). The multiplexer(31) performs time sharing to the image signals from main boards(10A-10N) of many computer systems. The compressor(33) compresses each shared image signal from the multiplexer(31) for divisional display. The controller(32) controls the multiplexer(31) and compressor(33) according to the number of main boards(10A-10N). Thereby, the image signals from many computers can be displayed on one monitor for various utilizations.
