[Also in Division A3] A clasp comprises two fastening elements 1, 3 each pivotally connected to a box 7 with a pin 11 or a screw which engages a recess at each end of the bracelet. The end portions of the bracelet have a series of recesses 6 and the end portions are cut to a predetermined length and inserted in the boxes then the pins or screws are inserted and rivetted or burred to retain them. A member 5 is pivoted to the element 3 and engages over an end of a bar 4 pivoted to the element 3 when the clasp is closed by inserting the bar between cross pieces in the element 1 and pivoting it onto the element 3. |
