1,136,173. Copolyamide fibres. KANEGAFUCHI BOSEKI, K.K. 22 Dec., 1966 [23 Dec., 1965], No. 57516/66. Heading B5B. [Also in Division C3] Fibres are formed by melt-spinning a homogeneous mixture of a copolyamide and a normal paraffin having at least 14 carbon atoms. The copolyamide is formed from at least two compounds selected from lactams, #-amino carboxylic acids, and salts of diamines and dicarboxylic acids. 0.01-5% wt. of the paraffin may be mixed with the copolyamide. A homopolyamide may be spun through the same spinning nozzle. Small quantities of branched or cyclic paraffins may be present in admixture with the normal paraffin.
