The wheelchair is provided with an undercarriage comprising two parallel arms, which are provided with rotatable wheels near their ends. The arms are pivotally interconnected by a cross beam, and interconnected at some distance from the cross beam by means of at least one leaf spring. The leaf spring is centrally connected to a part which is rigidly connected to the cross beam. The leaf spring is centrally pivoted to the part, which is a battery container. The arms are also interconnected near the leaf spring, by a pull rod which is pivoted to the arms by ball joints.
