<p>A liquid jet pump having a structure wherein a liquid inside a container is sucked up into a cylinder (3) through a suction valve (9) by moving up and down a vertical moving member (4), and the liquid inside the cylinder is jetted from a nozzle (29) through a stem (28) and a discharge valve (31). A plurality of protruding ribs (10) are formed in a circumferential direction at the lower end portion inside the cylinder, an engagement recess (11) is formed inside the upper surface of each rib, and the lower end of a coil spring (38) for biasing upward the vertical moving member (4) is anchored to each engagement recess (11).
