[Also in Division H3] In a radio receiver, e.g. a car radio having push-button tuning and a tuning dial attached to a supporting structure 3 which is detachably secured to the outer side of a wall of the casing 1 of the radio receiver, tongue 11 extends from the supporting structure 3 and supports a push-button 19. Only a connecting element 25 attached to the push-button extends inside the casing 1 for operation of a switch. The push-buttons slide on the tongues 11 of the structure 3 which is secured to the casing by screws (5 Fig. 1 not shown). The push-buttons are biased outwardly by springs 27 and when one of the push-buttons is pressed a sloping part 33 (Fig. 3) of the push button rod 23 engages with an opening in a locking bar 31 to move the bar 31 to the left. This releases any previously depressed button and a spring 34 maintains the bar 31 and button selected in a retained position. The connecting element 25 has a slot 35 to enable adjustment of the button position by a screw 21.</p> |
