<p>A device for heating the water in an aquarium comprises a casing (1), and housed in the casing, at least one heater element (2), a thermostat (3), an electrical circuit by way of which the heater element and thermostat are wired in series to an external power supply, and a control facility (20, 22, 31) for regulating the heater element, which is connected to the thermostat and can be activated from externally of the device; the operation of the heater element (2) is indicated by a lamp (23). The casing (1) affords at least one internal cavity (5) consisting in a tubular glass wall (6) around which the heater element (2) is wrapped, and having open ends (7a, 7b) so that the water can pass through. <IMAGE></p> |
