PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor thermal recording medium generating no edging caused of the developed color difference by the temp. difference in the periphery of a printing part and capable of easily and sharply forming a multicolor printing image in a card forming a multicolor printing image. SOLUTION: A coloring layer 2, a thermal printing membrane layer 4, a thermal color forming layer 3 acting by low energy as compared with the thermal printing membrane layer 4 and a protective layer 5 are successively laminated on one surface of a base material sheet 1.
