MOUNTING METHOD FOR RAVIGNEAUX-TYPE PLANETARY GEAR WITH STEPPED LONG PINION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an accurate mesh mounting by putting a mark on the long pinion of stepped configuration and assembling three pinions according to the mark in the same direction using a jig. SOLUTION: A mark M is marked on the tooth of a long front gear 16 of a stepped long pinion 15 disposed at 120 deg. intervals and a pin hole for assembling is bored in a stepped groove part 20 which is 180 deg. opposite to the mark M and a spot facing 19 is performed on one side surface of the tooth of the long rear gear 17. In a jig 21 for mounting the pinion 15, a carrier fixing plate 23 for indicating carrier 6 is disposed at the position of 120 deg. with a boss part 22 at the center and a spot facing plate 26 engaging with the spot facing 19 is disposed at the position where the pinion 15 is rotated by 15 deg. and a restriction pin 31 is disposed at the position of 120 deg. from the spot facing 19 in the same direction. They are mounted to the spot facing plate 26 by fitting the restriction pin 31 into the pin hole in the same direction of the mark so as to transfer the power smoothly with neat meshing.
