PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly continue a rake surface of a center side blade of a drill with a rake surface of an outer peripheral side blade of the drill at their connecting parts by setting the rake angles of the rake surfaces to be equal to each other at their connecting parts. SOLUTION: A body 73 of a grinding wheel 7 formed of a rotary disc, is formed in one of side surfaces thereof with a side part grinding surface 71 in the vicinity of the outer peripheral part thereof, in such a curved shape as the nearer to the outer peripheral end part, the larger the degree of projection orthogonal to the surface of the grinding wheel body 73. That is, there are provided a grinding wheel and a grinding method in which the side part grinding surface 71 at the outer peripheral end is formed in the surface direction of the grinding wheel body. |
