PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bending strength fatigue resistance at the deddendum and wear resistance along the tooth from the bottom to the deddendum of a toothed belt without using expensive material such as aramid fiber and thus to prevent the fracture of the tooth at low cost in the high heating condition. SOLUTION: Strongly twisted threads which are made of a plurality of woolly processed fibers of nylon 66 strongly twisted in Z direction are used as wefts 2b disposed in the direction of the length of the belt of a toothed cloth 2. The toothed cloth 2 is disposed and gummed such that bulging parts 8, 8... made of the woolly processed fibers are disposed on the surface opposite to the surface adhered to the belt body 1. Part of gum oozed out from the surface of the toothed cloth 2 is impregnated into the bulging parts 8. |
