PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously conduct the molding of a thin metal component along the surface of a resin molding and the molding of resin. SOLUTION: The method for injection molding resin comprises the steps of providing an overhanging molding recess 3b for molding an overhanging part of a predetermined shape by an injection resin pressure at a thin metal component integrally molded along the surface of a resin molding at a predetermined position of the inner surface of the cavity of a mold, holding a thin metal component material 4 of unprocessed overhang at a predetermined position provided with the recess 3b of the inner surface of the cavity of the mold before resin is injected, and overhanging the unprocessed material 4 to overhang it along the shape of the recess 3b by injection resin pressure.
