PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apron capable of protecting the body as a fire hood in case of a fire, being a simple fire extinguishing tool in case of relatively small fire and easy to remove soils. SOLUTION: This apron is formed by using a material coated with a water- barrier refractory material on the surface of a cloth. A hood 5 to be put on the head is attached on the inside of a breastpiece 2. The hood 5 is formed in a French seam shape by folding back the upper part of the breastpiece 2 and sewing both side hems. Oily stains during cooking do not soak into the cloth and can be easily removed only by wiping. When the oil in a pan catches fire during cooking, the fire is extinguished by covering the fire with the apron 1. In case of a fire accompanied by an earthquake, the body is protected from the fire by putting the apron 1 on the body. |
