PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device capable of smoothly supplying highly viscous ink to the printing plate of a plate cylinder and capable of selecting both of printing performing the whole surface equal ink supply by keyless ink supply and printing performing the ink supply in quantity regulated at every section by non-keyless ink supply. SOLUTION: An embossed roller 3 of which the peripheral speed is higher than the rotary peripheral speed of a fountain roller is provided in close vicinity to the ink, which is drawn out downwardly from an ink fountain 1 by the fountain roller 2 through a first gap 13, through a second gap 33 and pressure, breakup and stretching are repeatedly applied to highly viscous ink by external force in the ink supply process in the stage before reaching a weighing roller from the ink fountain 1. By this constitution, the flowability of the ink is temporarily enhanced and both of printing of a keyless ink supply mode and printing of a non-keyless ink supply mode can be selectively performed by the related operation of the regulation means of the first gap of the ink fountain 1 and the changeover of a contact or rotary contact means to the weighing roller 5 of a doctor means. |
