PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inferior capping from occurring without spoiling an airtight function, in a capping device in which an inner cap made of a metallic plate is assembled in an outer cap made of plastics and fixing the outer cap to a circular protrusion turning outward in a wide-mouthed container to hermetically seal it. SOLUTION: An outer cap 3 is made of heat-shrinkaging synthetic resin and an inner cap 2 is pressed by ribs 5, 6 made on the top plate 3a thereof. The inner diameter D1 of a cut-off part 3b' in the cylindrical part 3b in the outer cap 3 is set a little larger than the outer diameter D2 of the circular protrusion A1 turning outward in the wide-mouthed container A. |
