PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost organism protection promoting substance of cultured fish by using a material, which has not been utilized and simply abandoned, as a raw material without requiring a specific process for the material. SOLUTION: A hot extract of Watasenia with salt water as a soup discharged by a processing plant of Watasenia is used as a raw material. The raw material is obtained by filtering the hot extract so that the extract can be applied to a cultured fish. Especially Salmo gairdneri is preferable as the target cultured fish to be applied. Consequently, the abandonment of the soup of boiled Watasenia is not required in a processor of Watasenia. The soup is received, utilized as an organism protection promoting substance of cultured fish such as Salmo gairdneri, etc., without needing a specific process. Since excellent effect on prevention of diseases of cultured fish is obtained, not only a waste liquid is provided with an additional value, contamination of seawater, river, etc., with an organic substance can be reduced. Moreover, the amount of a medicine used in a nursery for fishes can be lightened and prevention measures of infective diseases of cultured fish can be economically inexpensively performed. |
