PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate image shift by providing a charge means electrostatically attracting a recording material to a belt like feed member by charging action and performing the electrostatic attraction by the charging means by charge potential higher than that in the continuous feed of one image forming means in the intermittent feed of other image forming means. SOLUTION: A fed recording material P is introduced into the nip part of a pair of resist rollers 113a, 113b to be gradually corrected and a belt 104 is almost driven so as to make one rotation by a drive roller 136 simultaneously with the application of charge to attraction corona 121 to charge a belt 141 over the entire region thereof. A pair of the resist rollers 113a,113b are driven and, in a state corrected in gradual feed, a recording material P passes a corona 114, and a feed guide 115 and the leading end thereof is fed to the position of the corona 116 in a process cartridge 102 arranged at the position opposed through a belt follower roller 137 and the belt 104 at the position of a corona 106 is charged. |
