PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by fixing a fixing member made of soft rubber or the like to the upper edge inside of a side wall of a nearly U-shaped plastic outer frame, and specifying hardness of the outer frame and the fixing member, and setting a space between the fixing members smaller than the thickness of the plural layered glass so as to push the glass. SOLUTION: In the case of fitting a beat A for plural layered glass to the peripheral edge of a plural layered glass, the end surface of the glass is inserted from an opening of the beat A into the bottom part of an outer frame 1. At this stage, projecting parts (a), (b) formed in the opening part and the bottom side of the outer frame 1 are tightly stuck to the glass so as to pinch the glass. The projecting parts (a), (b) are pushed to the outer surface of the glass by the relatively strong pinching force of the outer frame 1. The beat A is fixed to the peripheral edge of the glass, and the projecting parts (b), which are formed into the tongue-shape, effectively prevent the loose-out of the beat A from the glass. Hardness of the outer frame 1 and the fixing member 2 are respectively set at 85-95 degree and 50-70 degree of JISK7215. The outer frame can be thereby securely and easily fitted to the glass, and the glass can be carried in the beat installed condition. |
