PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in quality caused by thermal effect to the whole pipes. SOLUTION: In a joining method of a vacuum chamber which is formed by joining the pipes 8, 9 made of copper and copper alloy or aluminum and aluminum alloy, the pipes 8, 9 are abutted and an insert material having the property of either one of complete solid solution or eutectic reactions to the base material is inserted between these pipes 8, 9. A joint part of these pipes 8, 9 is locally heated with the high density energy source 13 and joined.
