PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having a good balance among mechanical strengths, heat resistance, etc., and excellent moldability and reduced in loss of rigidity upon water absorption. SOLUTION: This resin composition is the one comprising 40-75 pts.wt. polyamide resin (A), 5-30 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether polymer (B) modified with anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, 1-30 pts.wt. aromatic vinyl compound/aliphatic hydrocarbon copolymer (C) and 1-30 pts.wt. polypropylene resin (D), wherein component A forms the matrix phase, and components A, B and C form the dispersed phase of a core/shell particle structure in which component C forms the intermediate phase, and the secondary dispersed phase (core) of component D is entrapped in the primary dispersed phase (shell) of component B.
