PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a traveling wave and carry an object by arranging a plurality of shape memorizing alloy in a line or stripe shape memorized the waveform while shifting the phase of the waveform and heating and cooling repeatedly in these phase order. SOLUTION: An alloy tape 1 shape memorizing processed in a sine waveform shape is divided to three groups by every 40 pieces and its phase is arranged on a position of 0, 2π/3, 4π/3 in order and the end of the alloy tape 1 is fixed by an adhesive tape. Then, by using a pair of jigs 2, 2' having a surface with the wave length and amplitude same as the alloy tape 1, the alloy tape 1 is deformed in a 0 phase shape entirely. Further, a rubber sheet applied an adhesive is placed on the jigs 2, 2' and the whole is fixed integrally by holding the alloy tape 1. Both ends of respective alloy tapes 1 are connected to the electric power source circuit having a switch mechanism and the lines of respective phases are electrified and heated respectively and independently and the phases of the whole seats are made to 2π/3, 4π/3, 0. A traveling wave is generated by repeating this.
