摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high acceleration rolling by automatically controlling water injection between stands in a hot strip mill. SOLUTION: Before a steel sheet S passes a finish incoming side thermometer 2, a finish mill setting calculation device 5 executes calculation for setting of a finish mill 1 with a finish inlet side thickness and finish outlet side thickness, the target temp. and target thickness at finish outgoing side are given to a between stand target temp. decision device 6 and acceleration compensation device 10. The finish inlet side thermometer 2, after passing the tip of steel sheet S, measures a finish inlet side temp. of stock sheet and stores the data. The between stand target temp. decision device 6 decides a between each stand target temp. based on the data given by the finish mill setting calculation device 5, the between stand target temp. compensating quantity and the speed of steel sheet S. A water injection ON/OFF discrimination device 8 discriminates use or not use of each between water injection based on the data obtained from the between stand target temp. decision device 6, a water injection number decision device 9 decides a number of water injection and operates a between stand water injection equipment 4.</p>
